Operations Project Manager

1 Year Fixed Term Secondment Opportunity

£38,578 - £42,796 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our busy Operations Team on a one-year secondment.

Taking the lead on a variety of projects across the Service, you will support with their development from design to implementation, enabling the delivery of service reviews and business plans.

You will research, review, interpret and challenge the current processes, coordinating internal and external partners to understand best practice, legislation and techniques and identifying new partnership opportunities.

You will also develop, monitor and analyse reviews and project status, revising the scope, schedule or budget if necessary, prepare and present relevant reports, ensure appropriate risk management, value for money, scrutiny and governance requirements are met throughout and engage with stakeholders to create a cross-departmental approach.

With proven experience in developing and implementing projects, reviews and services improvements, ideally in local government, you will be degree qualified in a relevant field or have the equivalent work experience.

You will have extensive knowledge of project oversight and delivery, excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
