We’re looking for reliable and efficient support to join our HR team to help deliver high-quality support across a range of strategic and operational activities.

About this role

You’ll play a key role in supporting HR Specialists and the HR Delivery Partner. You’ll help coordinate meetings, manage documentation relating to change, maintain HR systems, and contribute to internal communications and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, must have experience working in an HR environment, and a proactive, adaptable approach to supporting change projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a keen interest in HR to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking local government environment.

We’re looking for a motivated and capable HR professional to support the delivery of organisational change and transformation across our services. Working closely with a senior HR lead, you’ll play a vital role in enabling successful restructures, service redesigns, and workforce changes, ensuring that people remain at the heart of every decision.

You’ll have experience working in a busy HR environment ideally within the public sector or local government, and be confident supporting change programmes, including consultation activity, implementation planning, and coordination with managers and project teams. Your input will help ensure that change is delivered smoothly, compliantly, and with a strong focus on employee experience.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy. You’ll be well organised, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience using HR systems (Select HR) and Microsoft Office applications is essential.
